A couple of months ago, i announced that i was invited to be one of the partner sites of WhatToExpect.com, the online version of What to Expect When You\’re Expecting book series. It is the best pregnancy and parenting resource site where you can actually share your own experiences and learn from others. You can gain information on what to expect during preconception, pregnancy, first year, to toddler years plus tips and advice from experts or those who have gone through the same situation. It is an online community for parents where we can gather advice and useful information from the authors behind the best selling books, and a fun way to share experiences and photos of our little bundle of joy!
My baby years is all behind me, so when i received the free books from WhatToExpect, I grab and read first the What to Expect the Second Year series. It is the complete guide to toddler\’s wonder year and obviously, i can relate to this one! Understanding child\’s behavior is my primary concern, cited example is this:
\”Our toddler drags a grimy old blanket around with her. When she will give it up?\”
Sounds familiar? Security object, transitional object or comfort object. Many toddlers latch on one comfort habit or object and some latch on several. True enough, my now turned 4-year old child latch on his comfy (tattered and completely worn out!) blanket until now. I have learned to impose acceptable limits on carrying his blanket, and allow him to latch on it until he is ready to give it up. The book provides steps and guides in dealing with common problem encountered, at the same time gives answers to all your toddler questions.
Now, how about getting a chance to have the following books and take a full advantage of having an essential guide through those remarkable years of your life?
One lucky reader will get a chance to own a copy of the following books:

I have a baby and childcare book given to me by a friend when I got married and it was really helpful to me when I was pregnant and had my babies. I'm sure the What to Expect series can do the same.
