Warts Removal at Belmere Alabang

I am now welcoming my wart free neck after my treatment at Belmere Skin Centre, a couple of weeks ago. Warts are growth on skin caused by infections with human papilloma virus, or HPV. In children warts go away on their own. In adults, they tend to stay and multiply!

I have  long been thinking of having it removed, I am actually at the centre for my Diamond Peel session but after I asked about warts removal process, I finally decided to have it done right after my facial DP.

\”Beauty Break\”

I can only see 5 pieces of warts around my neck, but was surprised to discover countless of them during removal process.

Php1,500 for ECT on neck area.

Here\’s how the process goes: After cleansing of area, a topical anesthesia in cream form is applied on each wart. The aesthetician sealed the cream with clear tape and after 20 minutes or so, when the area was numbed enough, a tool with a thin, needle-like hot tip is placed on the wart then proceeds to \”burn off\” the affected area.

Applied Infladerm after ECT.

Here, freshly burnt! it leaves a small reddish mark and there\’s a minimal pain during the process. The whole treatment takes around 30 to 40 minutes depending on the number of warts to be treated. Initially, the area around the wart may look like it is charred.

After an hour.

You will be asked to apply post-ECT cream for 3 days to speed up healing and infladerm for anti-inflammatory.

@ Php150 each.

It was a bit itchy,  but resist yourself from scratching the area and allow the scab to drop off by itself  to avoid wart scars.

After 8 days.
Complete healing takes up to two weeks. If you are planning to undergo this treatment, it is best to have it done during long weekends from work and strictly follow the post-electrocautery instruction to prevent infection or scarring.
