During an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the 44-year-old actress said: “It’s hard with twins because it prevents you from being too much of a helicopter mom. You’ve got two at the same time to take care of, and the one who needs you the most is the one who gets you. And so the other one’s gotta cry it out until you can get to her. It’s true!”
Rebecca gladly announced that her twins, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, are now 8 years old. Oh my! Yes, time does fly!

Balanced routine can be a challenge for Romijn and husband Jerry O’ Connell who are both working actors. Their secret? Embrace the teamwork mentality – this was the advice we got from the actress and former model. She said they were able to raise their kids into a normal, loving children because they \’tag-team\’ with work. It means when one of them needs traveling for work, the other one stays at home.
This tip has greatly worked out for this couple of almost 10 years now until they got their Hallmark movie, Love Locks, where the real-life couple had to star as on-screen couple for the movie. They had to spend a month away from the girls while Grandma and Grandpa took over.
On the other hand, Rebecca said, it’s still a win-win situation since their daughters love to be with their grandparents, and vice versa, while she and Jerry got a lot of date nights. Isn’t that amazing?

Pretty much close to having kids at a very close age gap.It is true that we need to work as a team. Husband and wife. We have to remove the me first mentality or what about me? Always, 'what can I do for you?\” 🙂

Ooppsy..I am really clueless as to who Rebecca Romjin is. BUT, what she shared is very true, it is really hard to tend to 2 babies (of the same age) with exactly the same needs. It is no joke raising kids who belong to the same age group more so twins.I could just imagine how ambidextrous Rebecca is…while the other hand is changing diaper, the other hand/arm is busy keeping the baby asleep. That is why moms are superheroes. (Macy)

Have you saw the viral post of a mom with quadruplets? and she was hiding in a pantry to eat sweets! I saw the interview in Ellen and they were very funny. I bet it's very difficult to have multiple kids all at the same time! :))

I remember I was dreaming of having twins before. Preferably a boy and a girl. Until I became a mommma of one and I was so thankful he didn't have a twin! Hahahaha. Ang hirap ng isa lang, dalawa pa kaya? Ang galing nilang parents who are able to raise twins! It's like double the trouble, yet double the fun! 🙂

Parenting children is all about teamwork and it really takes a village to raise kids. I don't go out with my friends all the time but when I do, the husband takes care of the kids. Same with him, I allow him to have drinking sessions sometimes while I am the one in-charge with the pumpkins.

I salute parents with twins. They must be so strong to handle two active rascals.

I can't imagine a second child for us just yet as my hands are already full with my toddler, wife duties, house chores and work, but it truly is helpful to be a team when raising kids. 🙂 I went through CS and after my husband's paternity leave, I was left alone during daytime to tend to myself, the baby and our house. Fortunately, my husband was reliable. He took over the heavy chores, and waking up in the wee hours of the morning for the nappy change, so I could get some rest, too.

It must be difficult to take care of twins and I can't imagine how difficult it must be but it must be nice to go through one pregnancy and have two kids.

I can't imagine parenting twins. It must be doubly hard! LOL! Teamwork with the husband is truly a must because you are outnumbered if it's just one parent doing all the work.

We didn't have twins although we have every chances of having one with both sides with the genes in sides of the family. But we have two kids that are only a year and a half apart and for some time, it really felt like raising twins, hihi. Rebecca's kids are now 8 which means, she's done with the years of keeping up with the activeness heehee

Parenting is like a rollercoaster and when you have twins, it's like you are riding in two rollercoasters at the same time. Does it make any sense? Lols. Though I love the idea raising a twin someday.

I cannot imagine how challenging it is to parent a pair of twins. Back in the days, I wished I will have twins so I will have two babies in one pregnancy and birth-giving. But looking back, I am glad I only had a single baby when I got pregnant. I do not think I'd be able to care for two babies at the same time! 😀

I have twins: a boy and a girl. They are a handful. I needed a lot of support especially when they were babies so I had to surround myself with a lot of people who helped me out. We moved to China when they were eight months old. That was tough. But nothing can be tougher when you have twin toddlers and you're pregnant. That's another story I can share in another post. 🙂
